ABOUT ME

As a counsellor I work in a humanistic and integrative way. This means I trust in your ability to find your own way through issues, that you are the expert on you and know what is best for your own growth as a person. I aim to support and facilitate this process.

My hope is that those I work with in counselling move towards a greater sense of well-being and connection, to themselves and others.

Before becoming a psychotherapist, I worked for 15 years in homeless services. In that work I learned of the power and importance of genuine and deeply respectful human connection, as I strove to support those experiencing the trauma of being without a home.

I am a fully accredited member of the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP).
